

Dr Mandy Cassimatis is a Clinical Psychologist with experience treating a range of psychological issues in children and adults.
Qualifications & Experience
Dr Cassimatis has a Bachelor of Arts (double major in Psychology), Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology, Master in Clinical Psychology and PhD. She holds Clinical endorsement as a registered Psychologist and is a Psychology Board-approved Supervisor and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Dr Cassimatis has been involved in developing a range of online and face-to-face evidence-based programs to support people who are living with a chronic disease, related distress and psychological conditions. She is experienced in using a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Dr Cassimatis delivers both individual and group-based therapy and works with families.
Clinical Focus
Dr Cassimatis particularly enjoys working with clients who are living with physical health condition(s) including chronic disease, who are experiencing adjustment, self-care and/ or psychological/ emotional issues. She also enjoys treating clients who are affected by mood disorders, anxiety disorders, acute and chronic stress, eating issues, weight management issues, self-esteem issues, and those who have experienced trauma, grief and loss. She treats children from 6 years old through to adults.
In her spare time, Dr Cassimatis likes reading, cooking, walking, crotchet, and spending time with her family.
